Paid placement, not yet for sale

This directory is free to use and free to contribute to. Paid placement exists to cover the domain and the hosting, and it comes with rules. A directory that hides its sponsors is not worth reading.

Closed The plumbing is in place (the schema, the labelled row treatment, the expiry dates), but nothing is for sale while the directory fills up. To hear when slots open, open an interest issue or email hello@vibecodedapps.site.

Inventory is deliberately tiny (1 spotlight slots), so the directory never turns into an ad page.

The rules

Non-negotiable
  • Every paid placement is labelled on the row, next to the app name. No exceptions, no “partner content” euphemisms.
  • Placements expire on a date stored in the listing itself. If nobody renews, the label disappears on its own.
  • The index is ordered by launch date. Sponsorship never outranks it.
  • A placement must belong to the section it sits in. You cannot buy your way into a topic you have nothing to do with.
  • No pop-ups, no interstitials, no autoplaying video, and no tracking pixels beyond the slot you bought.
  • Editorial picks stay editorial. Buying a placement does not buy the description.

Why not just run display ads?

Because they would not survive contact with this design. A directory earns attention by being trustworthy, and cookie-based ad networks trade exactly that away. Paid listings are the only commercial model this project is prepared to run, and they are opt-in, labelled and removable.

Getting listed for free

Sponsorship is never required. Listing an app costs nothing, always.
